Learn Best Chords For Guitars

By Joe Rosales

The first time I picked up a guitar my whole life changed.

Even the same model, made in the same year, with sequential serial numbers, are going to play & sound different. they have their own personalities, their own feel & their own mood swings.

Do you have a passion for playing as well?

Power Chords

Power chords are two or three string distorted sounding chords used in some of the most popular rock songs of all times. You will learn to play several rock songs during the first few lessons of this module. Afterwards you will be very familiar with the fretboard and surprise yourself with the sounds you will be able to play.

If you seriously want to learn to play rock guitar, don't get frustrated or discouraged if you're not playing the way you would like to at the beginning. If you enjoy playing, the progress will come at some point. Find a guitar teacher you communicate well with, design a workable schedule to practice and, most importantly, try to have fun while you're learning.

In other words:

E Major Chord: Place the middle finger on the 2nd fret and 5th string Then place the ring finger on the 2nd fret and 4th string Next place the index finger on the 1st fret and 3rd string. Then strum all the strings.

D Major chord: Place the index finger on the 2nd fret and 3rd string Then place the ring finger on 3rd fret and 2nd string. Next place the middle finger on the 2nd fret and 1st string. Start with the 4th string and strum the notes down.

A Major chord: Place your index finger down on the second fret on the 4th string. Then place your middle finger down on the second fret on the 3rd string. Next place your ring finger on the second fret on the second string. beginning with the 5th string, strum the strings except do not play the sixth string.

To put it bluntly - you must set goals!
