How To Compete And Win In A Tri State Music Bands Battle

By Laura Barnes

Every year at West Park, NY young folks spend countless days preparing for the yearly battle of bands. Every local and those arriving from far away regions often visit to perform and duke it out with other bands. However not every groups are able to perform and show their ability and skills to everyone because every band is eliminated before the finals.

Competition is healthy but if the competitors tend to think about rivalry too much. It could poison the flow of the event and would leave a bitter taste on the mouth of each participant. Hence it is important for musicians to build team work and support the different roles of tri state music bands.

Support is necessary if you want the rest of your team members to follow you. Because support is far different from obliging because when people are oblige to play for others based on their own rules. It seems to resonate a very controlling environment and that would not only pressure others to perform their best.

However a well manage group is a place where only professional individuals who have a common goal work together to achieve it without involving the differences of other people. But despite that idea not every member have the same level of maturity or sense of awareness of self and others. Sometimes it takes force to get these individuals to get things on their feet.

Improvement is necessary when you are competing in a battle. When it comes to battling even in music it is necessary that the participant give it their all despite the odds of winning. Hence the better a musician performs and how the chemistry between each member of the band shows their efforts and cooperation.

Groups are good for people who follow a singular ideology but not good for people who find it easier to work alone. Have their own thoughts and ideas about their work and are self reliant. In groups you need another person to help you gauge how well you are doing, and most of all to monitor your current level. While solo artist find it easier to work alone because they need the space to create actively works of art.

However working with others may prove helpful the same with doing everything alone. But improvement for the sake of it requires flexibility on the part of the person and therefore should think about how these two aspect can help them personally. Furthermore once these aspects have been established the rest should be focused on the improvement part.

Skills are very important when it comes to performing not only will the audience want to listen to your music. But they will want to see how well you perform with your instruments as well as how well you can act on stage during the whole performance. These factors alone can influence the final decision of judges hence very crucial that each part is developed and improved on through practice.

Practice, as they say, makes everything perfect. However no one is perfect because perfection is simply an idea. But performing the right techniques and procedure does help to improve the way one works. Because performance does not always mean that you have considerable skill and in born talent, but it will not mean anything if that talent or skill has been further developed and everything perfected.
