Exceptional Quality Sound Is Computer Compatible With M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 Speakers

By Abe Schaefer

It seems like invention of the computer and digital possibilities they came with a changed just about everything especially in the home entertainment world. Music systems resembled furniture, whereas now exceptional audio files come from devices smaller than our hand. Listening to them still requires a sound producing element and M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 speakers provide an excellent output.

The entire world of sound has changed in the nearly half century since then, and they have been amazing. What used to emanate from a 15 pound system with innumerable cables and connections can now be generated by a device that fits in a shirt pocket. Then, as now, the key to any system is the speaker it is played on.

Even the way we use our entertainment systems has changed with people carrying with them listen to them while they jog, walk or work. In order to keep from disturbing people around them many people use ear buds, tiny amplifiers that allow listening in private. But when it comes to truly enjoying or sharing the music, the amplifier has to be well-made, quality equipment.

We hear when our brain interprets ways air waves vibrating the eardrum. Ultimately then re-creating perfect sound is the ability to make eardrum vibrate with the same frequencies as the original source. While miniaturization has allowed for speakers to be created small enough to fit in here the quality of that sound is less than 10 be attained in larger systems.

Amplifiers divide the impulses by wavelength, larger cones vibrate slower producing longer waves we perceive as lower sounds, and smaller ones vibrate faster and create shorter waves we perceive as higher sounds. There is also a mid-range which can be established to focus on specific ranges of vibrations.

Earphones or buds create waves through tiny oscillating diaphragms, and while the sound is transmitted, its quality is low. Amplifiers vary in quality based on their ability to recreate the original waves without adding mechanical sounds called noise produced in the replication. A larger speaker does not necessarily produce better quality, but it can produce greater volume.

Selecting a sound system to match the computer depends on intended use. If video clips are the primary function, then lower quality amplifiers are adequate. But if the sound quality is important, as when watching movies or music one will want something better. Selecting M-Audio Studiophile AV 40 speakers allow professional quality sound without the in-studio expense.
