Why Are The Current Successful Songs So Cliched?

By Jack Wogan

It seems like music in present times is lacking the magic it had in the past. Everyone is in the middle of an avalanche of songs that are technically changed to sound "in", yet the result is an unsatisfactory pile of sounds, electronic support and less voice. There is a culture of global consumption and performers appear not to possess the aptitudes that enable them to offer to the public an ingenious music masterpiece.

One of the elements that trigger a lack of imagination is the fact that many singers recur to covering famous hits from the 80s and the 90s for instance and transform them in a modern version. Unhappily, it is not a musical masterpiece and it irritates the listener in an ineffective effort to produce something new.

It is true that originality is not inexhaustible. Nonetheless, in past times, music had that genuineness and achieved to grab everybody's attention and now it seems it cannot succeed that at the same pace. If music is governed by a hi-tech perspective, the lyrics are almost undecipherable and the message is lost on the way. It is like all hits are not differentiated, they use autotune and are ninety nine percent rhythm and one percent voice which is left somewhere in the shadow of the song.

If you express your desire to bring to light the mysteries of inspiration, you can start to learn to play at instruments like for instance the guitar. You can buy one and try to originate something singular with the help of the magic strings. At Sounds Great Music, effects pedal is a marvelous purchase if you wish ardently to get some progress in the value of your music. You can practice your aptitudes and produce in time a fresh melody.

Today's music sensations lack inspiration and fail to produce an osmosis between the lyrics and the audience; this fact illustrates that originality is left behind. In order for the melodies to become original again, a boost of imaginativeness is necessary, so that it can rescue music destined for the extensive consumption and not for providing magnetism to one's hearing.

A way out of this tag of monotonous music that has inexpressive words would be for artists to recur to simple things, like a guitar tune or a piano, complemented with their voice. They can give birth to an association between the instrument and the inspired voice and to rule out stereotypical word content and explicit videos. Artists should make every effort to regain the importance of creativity by using indispensable instruments which stand the test of time!
