The audio cable is plenty long for what I require, however I guess maybe it's a bit more insulated. The ear-cup covers the whole ear and doesn't sit on top of earlobes unlike a few of the other designs. General it's a great value for your money. Sound is more than adequate, great bass sound, comfortable but just a little heavy after more than an hour or so of listening. They have comparable quality of sound as your 10 dollar rf wireless headphones you purchase at Best Buy.
Mediocre infrared wireless headphones, and I suppose I was expecting just a little flatter/crisper sound. Nevertheless, if you simply want a set of comfy headphones that sound great, here it is.

It sounds like a radio on low volume. Fantastic bass output, which I like, as well as the general sound, is excellent. Overall if you're contemplating buying these do it now! I must use them with a rag of shirt on top of my head for padding since the excess weight of the headphones causes straps to cut into my scalp, really miserable. Delicate midrange sounds are often heard. The noise from the random parts of these headphones renders them useless. The Sony earcups don't swivel from right-to-left, but only up-and-down. The bass doesn't over power the mids or highs which is ideal for me. They're tough to fit these acoustic research wireless headphones in a bag and travel with. The sound reproduction is excellent and the headphones do precisely what they ought to. These have lasted for 100s hours to date and sound great. I've had these headphones for a month and love them. You should not be disappointed as I am not!

Anyway, the bass is horrible. Koss UR-20 Home HeadphonesSony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones it's great for it's cost. I am an audiophile but not as intense as other people and these just not have the things I would like. Needs more work, specifically for 20 bucks. For me it doesn't truly make a difference, as I'm going to be using them at home, however for others this may be something to consider.
