This time around I am moving on to a brandname with a little chutzpah. The earcup paper will flake off within a few years or under heavy use, just like a comparable Sony I had.
Durable and comfy construction. We like the sound. The sound is excellent and I could not believe these were under $30. I compared these to two other types of Sony headphones which had similar or better specs and critiques. The low ones sound perfectly and never distort the sound. Regardless of how much I adjusted it, the discomfort wouldn't go away. The Koss headphones are also a little less expensive. Now of coarse they do not sound as good as my Sony MDR 7506 however they didn't cost more than $100.00 either.
I really like the general quality of sound and the noise cancellation. They do muffle exterior noise well, but if you touch or move the very first 2 feet or so of cord you'll be able to hear it in the left earcup. I know the cord should be long but truthfully it is annoyingly long. They're total crap. Having a Film and Music switch is also a plus. I sold this wireless home stereo on eBay, to some client who needed high quality at a bargain price. I really like them! Sadly, this avoid much at all to dampen outside sound.
Voices have a "cupped-hands" sound. This may have to do with the predominantly plastic bodyparts, but if you don't plan to use this as a rugby ball, I believe these headphones can last a while. It might be especially obvious when listening to digital songs. I've got a large head.
I have no issues with them.
I've got a largish head, and the minimum adjustment continues to be rather loose on my small head. Listening exhaustion is minimal at reasonable listeing volume. They simply didn't feel like Sony quality whatsoever, unsure if Sony is going cheep on us or what but steer clear of these cans like the plague.
I just read the truly amazing reviews and chose to take a risk. It was so distinct and completely balanced. However with these, it really works fantastic!
Furthermore they have fantastic sound, andthe fit and sturdiness is impeccable.
