If you simply want something to listen to casually, go on and buy these. When you get it, you'll instantly understand the cheap plastic supplies it's made from. I personally use it to watch movie, play with my Midi instruments. The rf wireless headphones have excellent quality of sound and were really affordable. You should not be disappointed as I am not!

But thats okay, if dealt with carefully they might be servicable for a while. As a matter of fact, my sound technician at church purchased from me because he liked the quality of sound and comfort of these infrared wireless headphones.
They look very stylish, and provide good quality of sound for there budget range. They aren't as loud and you will hear the background music about 30 feet at high volume away. They're tough to fit these acoustic research wireless headphones in a bag and travel with. Colleagues adjacent to my cube can listen to almost anything I play. When compared with JVC HARX300, an additional recommended full-sized headphone, this Sony unit has larger bass and more sizzle at the very top end.
It sounds like a radio on low volume. The earcup paper will flake off within a few years or under heavy use, just like a comparable Sony I had.
Fit snugly and comfy, sound production is excellent (I am no audiophile so I believe its great), and also you can't beat the cost. There's just one wire coming out of these headphones - on the left side (my connection would be to the left so I love the one wire thing). They harm after a few minutes of wear and tear.
But based on what you are using them to hear, the sound might be somewhat muffled. I had no clue how good these where likely to sound. Not a problem listening to portable devices because it is quite sensitive for such a large headphone, which can not be said of larger diameter headphones. The merchandise I received has a single, long, 10 foot cord. If there is an opportunity you may want richer sound, so if you have some extra bucks I recommend you continue searching for head phones. General it's a great value for your money. Highly recommended.
