Fairly Grrrrrrreat - RF Wireless Headphones Review

By Grace Ward

Also, when put them on, I keep hearing this strange echo, even unplugged. For that price, I love these headphones! When compared with JVC HARX300, an additional recommended full-sized headphone, this Sony unit has larger bass and more sizzle at the very top end. Too large for the street. It sounds like a radio on low volume.

These were huge and comfortable.

The bass below 32Hz can still be heard, however with little of the fundamental frequency and many of the odd order harmonics. Comfortable for around 4 hours.

It fits easily around your ear. If you are seeking some decent-priced headphones which get you thru the work day, these are good. The quality of sound is pretty great.

Comfort and ease, cost and quality were the main factors in my purchase and satisfaction with one of these cool headphones.

So I began searching for Amazon and found these cool headphones for much less. I purchased them due to the cost (I was not going to invest $100 on headphones I seldom use) and because I desired something capable of giving a great bass. Midrange and treble detail is good enough to reveal shortcomings in the mp3s.

If you simply want something to listen to casually, go on and buy these. Considering the price of the gear it's one of the best headphones of the market. Plus the quality of sound was great, and othger reviewers have given more indepth coverage on technical skills. This evaluation is targeted at individuals with eyeglasses and whose ears get pinched between your eyeglass arms and the earphones.

I put on glasses and the earpieces can be painfully irritating when they are pressed between my ears and my headphones. The Koss headphones hold on far better and are softer for a wireless home stereo system, and wider and more versatile over head. But based on what you are using them to hear, the sound might be somewhat muffled. The rf wireless headphones completely enclose your ears. I would suggest these headphones to friends, but would alert them of the volume issue first. I'm able to still hear my co-workers speaking (although not clearly know what they're talking about) while listening to songs. You will get these loud without distortion. Huge disappointment for somebody who purchased them to shut everybody around me up. The ten foot cord is a big plus also. For a $25 set of headphones, sound is nice! Nearly forgot to say, the Sennheiser HD201 is missing on the bass. I usually have a test I use on all my new headphones and speakers, I refer to it as "The Wound" Test. If you are moving around a lot with them, expect the long wire to get in the way. According to other reviews, I had been hopeful I had found an inexpensive decent-quality set of headphones.
