Extra long cord is a plus I am an university college student in an audio/video degree, they're fantastic, I bring them back and forth with me daily plus they are designed for alot of beating up. I had been searching for a cheap headset that I can use to watch movies on my small laptop. The bass, the treble, the highs and lows all come through obviously. The "sound mode" switch is simply there for looks as far and i'm concerned. Occasionally they fight and scream and I cannot focus past them, even from another room. Good, comfy head set. Great price and incredibly comfortable for wireless headphones for computer.
I've had mine for three days now and I need to give sony credit for making extremely comfy and lightweight headphones. I suppose for those who have a large head it shouldn't be that bad.
The ear padding is large enough to surround my ear and it is comfortable. Previously I've owned Koss Pro4s, Sennheisers, other Sonys. They are great for the cost. I got these so I could watch movies/listen to songs with my roommate in the room (also my laptop computer speakers are crap). Excellent set of headphones for mixing & brings out good quality of sound for everyday use of listening to music and watching films. Nice choice for this price.
These have a super long cable too!
I don't like to block up my ears with sleeping earplugs all day long for health issues. I even tried to place a little fabric underneath the band to alleviate pressure, but that did not help a lot at all.
They're really big, the speakers rival how big a lemon or small orange might look. So so so thoughtfully designed keeping security in mind for the consumer.
I don't know why I was expecting more from a $20 set of headphones, however I did.
I wear these headphones for 9-10 hours daily at the office and they are great. But frankly, if that's your primary purpose, why would you use circumaural headphones to begin with? Volume reaction at every frequency is neutral and even. I've had these for just two days and I can say they're very uncomfortable. They sound great and they are extremely comfortable! This can be annoying if you're constantly changing positions, or even lying down. So loud that I hear when the music stops is really a loud ringing in my ears.
