It is the spot where you will find the pickups, a pair of rectangular bits situated right after the end of the neck, that makes it possible for the alteration of sound for amplification. The bridge is in the body also, keeping all of the strings together.

Another thing on the body of the bass guitar would be the knobs, which clearly regulate the quality as well as loudness of sound. Last but not least, the output jack is the tiny thing sticking out of the guitar. It is the spot where you attach a wire associated with an amplifier to get a better sound effect.
