A Quick Review Of Jamorama

By Jonathan Coles

If you try to search the internet, you'll be able to find out that there are numerous of guitar programs available online. The only catch is that you will have to go through a number of them before you find out which one really works.

Some courses are too simplistic that most people find unchallenging.

What I found to be truly unique in Jamorama is that it is pretty interactive in nature. The man behind this course is Ben Edwards.

Being a professional guitarist who has traveled the world with the popular group DegreesK, this is really expected.

Edwards is not just any guitarist though. In order for him to be able to truly teach all those people who are genuinely interested in playing the guitar, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Education.

He has been teaching even before the online course.

The Jamorama is an online course about learning how to play the guitar that uses a multi-faceted approach in teaching individuals by way of an e-book, software, audio and video files as well as several games.

This very interactive approach in playing the guitar may have to cost you more than how-to paperbacks.

The course includes a 235 page e-book that includes everything about playing the guitr. It is also supplemented with 153 video files and 400 audio files.

What I found to be commendable with the Jamorama is the way that it reaches out to different learners such as using games for beginners and the comprehensive e-book for the intermediate learners.

One skill that Jamorama emphasizes is being able to learn by ear.

Playing by ear is a skill that more professional guitarists employ. Jamorama includes audio files that learners can listen to and then play along with.
