Tips For Newbies Who Want To Create Their You Tube Channel

By Ben Truce

If you like making videos, or editing ones that are already out there, then YouTube is the place to post them. Millions of users from across the globe sign in to You Tube everyday, and who knows who will stop by and take a look at the videos you have made.

You Tube makes it easy to set up an account and get a channel. Simply put, a You Tube channel is just your account, which other people can view. So it is automatic for anyone that registers to get a channel.

Take a glance at some of the steps to follow to get started, and see how easy it can be.

You need to register with You Tube before you will be allowed to post videos, but the process is pretty straight forward and simple. Additionally, for those who have a Google account, it is even easier because all you have to do is link the two accounts together.

After you get signed up and you are logged into your account, the next thing that you can do is to customize how your account will look and feel. Try different settings until you find what you like and makes your channel look good.

Remember that how you design your page will affect how many users will visit and return to your channel, so how it looks is important. A common mistake people make is that they over decorate their channel page and that ends up turning people off from visiting it again.

Videos make a channel what it is, and if there are none on your channel, then people will have no reason to stop by. You Tube makes it easy to get your videos online, and once they are, who knows what can happen when visitors look at it.

Now that you have videos uploaded on your channel, you can follow up and see how many people are looking at it, and if they are rating it. You can take advantage of some of the tools You Tube offers to keep an eye on how your video is doing and how it compares to other ones.
