What makes a great Karaoke track? We all have our favorites and they come from all genres and all times. Most of us have had, or still have a longing to be a pop star or singer of some sort and Karaoke lets us live the dream, even if it is only in front of our mates. How do we decide which song to sing at Karaoke? For some people there is no decision they do the same song every time. Ballads may not bring on the party atmosphere but they are always popular. Most ladies love to have a go at I Will Always Love You and pretend they are a diva. It is also another popular break up song. Angel by Robbie Williams is the favorite ballad for men. This is probably because they want to be as cool and loved by the ladies as Robbie.

Who can resist a rock anthem? Meatloaf, Bon Jovi, Queen the Rolling Stones are all Karaoke favorites. The mixture of a good head bang and a rock scream are irresistible to everyone even the most ladylike and quiet spoken of Karaoke fans.

The most requested karaoke songs are uplifting party songs, rock anthems, easy listening classics and sentimental tracks. Great karaoke songs are ones which people can identify with in some way.
