It Has Really Deep And Strong Bass - Noise Cancelling Headphones Review Review

By Nathan Ramirez

We use Sennheiser products (mics) in our Rock Band and the performance is consistent and high-end quality. I would recommend this product to others. The kids are blessed with excellent hearing, while mine has been sub-standard most of my life. My wife and kids were constantly telling me to turn the volume down. All of them had some low level of hiss and less than audiophile sound quality. The wait is over. Like a new remote control on a new TV, yes, it does require some getting used to but we have had fantastic feedback otherwise. These are simply the best full-sized wireless headphones that I have heard.

They twist and adjust quite a bit to fit different size and shaped heads. The base is modern and nice looking.

They're not inexpensive, but they work (for me) really well. I purchased these for my step-father.

These are pretty expensive headphones, I had expected to be able to go anywhere in my house (including the porch) and get a good signal, but that hasn't been the case. I don't know of any good alternatives, though, so I'll keep these and experiment with moving the transmitter so that I can get a better signal in other parts of the house. They are very comfortable; you almost forget you are wearing them. Installation was very simple to do. So, that's probably an unavoidable issue. However, all my complaints combined don't add up to the loss of a full star.

Once in a while there is a little pop in the sound but remember these are wireless. It enables me to listen to TV while my mate is sleeping and vice versa.

The Sennheiser RS 180 Headphones exceeded all of my requirements. There is ample room for over the ear hearing aids in the muffs if you need additional sound clarification and tweaking, but the sound quality is so great you don't really need them. Yes, but you get what you pay for. I absolutely love them. The headphones are comfortable though I would like a bit more padding spanning the entire headband. The buttons on the headphones that control power, volume and balance (handy if you have asymmetrical hearing deficits) are too small and flat. Remember this: escape is not a luxury; it is a necessity if you want to get an advanced degree in sound and mind travel. Now get out and buy these phones!
