Classic Albums - Rumours By Fleetwood Mac

By JT Stevens

Over the past few years vinyl records, particularly classic ones, have made a comeback on mainstream music entertainment. A lot of companies have created machines that had classic style, yet modern technology, that could play old vinyl records, like the collection of Crosley Record Players. Using these kinds of machines, people who love old, classic records, like Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours", can now enjoy them with a modern twist.

Fleetwood Mac is one of the most popular bands in the music industry, past or present. A joint venture of American and British musicians, Fleetwood Mac was founded in 1967 by Peter Green, with Mick Fleetwood and John McVie. Fleetwood Mac's early years brought much success and popularity, though it seemed like it would not last for long due to Peter Green's departure from the band.

Almost everyone, both fans and critics, felt that Fleetwood Mac was finished. However, they were proven wrong when Fleetwood, McVie, then new member Stevie Nicks, and the rest of Fleetwood Mac, surged ahead. The problems and troubles they encountered during this difficult time were used by the band to create what would be the band's most popular album, and one of the most successful records in the music industry, "Rumours".

"Rumours" is highly popular to both fans and critics alike because it symbolizes the triumph of hard work and creativity against impending disaster. The use of their past problems and issues as fuel to for the creative fire proved to be very popular for fans. And it is this creative fire that allowed Fleetwood Mack to create some of the most memorable songs of their career.

These songs include "Second Hand News", "Go Your Own Way", and the highly popular "Dreams" track, all of which gained much popularity over the years. These songs, as well as the rest of Fleetwood Mac's efforts, have made the album "Rumours" and the band itself household names that they are today. It is an album so profound that even today modern music fans can still enjoy the music.

People young and old can today get copies of the songs from "Rumours" in a digital MP3 format that can be listened to using digital music devices. Even if you're a diver, swimmer, fisherman, or anyone working near water, using a waterproof MP3 player would allow you to listen to "Rumours" easily. It is an album that everyone must absolutely listen to!
