Jerry Rivera, Latin singer and well regarded as Latin Grammy and Grammy awards nominee for his songs was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico in 1973 putting him a bit before Puerto Rican Reggaeton musicians like Don Omar, Daddy Yankee and Tito el Bambino. Humacao, Puerto Rico is not among the list of towns adjacent to San Juan but is a little more eastern and southern of San Juan. Two other known Puerto Rican personalities also came from Humacao, Puerto Rico. One has been actually born in Santurce, Puerto Rico and migrated as a kid to Humacao and his name is Carlos Ponce born a year previous to Rivera in 1972. He is a performer, composer as well as actor.
